1969 Ford Mustang Power Steering
|
Used Ebay for my large parts list..
Its January 22, 2006 and I just got my suspension mostly under my Mustang so
I pulled out my very banged up steering assembly and decided it had to go.
Looking up parts online I was finding that for what I need to complete the
front chassis I was going to have to pay quite a bit of money so I looked to
Ebay for a little help.
Classic Mustang Tip:
Sometimes you can buy miscellaneous Classic Mustang Parts such as suspension and
steering hardware for much cheaper second hand from Ebay. People give up on
projects and let their stuff go.
Buying Classic Car Parts on Ebay
When you're buying specific parts on a car like my classic Mustang Ebay can
be your friend. Thanks to ebay I may stick with my power steering. My list
of needed things was fairly long and buying them individually and new was
going to cost me quite a bit of money. Luckily I found people dumping what I
needed on Ebay at good deals.

-
69 Mustang Shock Tower Caps - Got them for $25 total with shipping. If I
purchased them new I was looking at $80 at the lowest. Savings of $55 and I like
the color better.
-
69 Mustang Tie Rod Ends, connectors and Idler Arm - A valuable deal
at only $80 it was quite a steal. In addition to this I looked at the
sellers other auctions and discovered he was dumping the power steering
assembly which I needed.
-
69 Mustang Power Steering setup - Used setup but in better shape
than mine for sure. It also comes with his old front end parts, tie rods,
etc.(extras will eventually be needed or may be usable) With it being the
same seller I can combine shipping and save further dollars for additional
parts. $127 for a power steering setup off a classic Mustang is a great
deal.
1969 Mustang Steering Pictures
I downloaded the pictures of the items I purchased since they won't be there
forever. All in all this deal is Saving me hundreds of dollars on parts and
they're all coming right to my doorstep.
Ford Mustang power steering related searches at Google. I'm very good at
searching for classic Mustang parts so I'm sure those out looking for parts
will appreciate some leads. These searches should be on the right track.
