Winds of Change

Sometimes in evolution things change in giant leaps. I feel like much about my life has really evolved for the beginning of 2008. For starters I've started what's been an absolutely wonderful job over at Turner Industries in Baton Rouge. I've a position where I work with the newest technology with a team of extremely capable people who are great to be around. Very promising.

Oh by the way I'm getting married April 5th Las Vegas style. I know that might be a shock to many people but we haven't sent out announcements. We decided to mail out to everyone after the fact due to the nature of our decision. Getting married is something I never thought I'd do until the last couple of years with Michelle. I don't think I changed so much as finding someone who compliments me so well. I gained perspective I guess you could say.

We've been looking to buy property in the Prairieville area. It's funny that a long time I really wanted an opportunity to get away. Move to the big city or even to Europe. I was always looking for it silently and at some point in the last 3-5 years I subconsciously changed my mind. I was always happy here I just wanted to explore more. Maybe I figured out I can explore but have my home base here with my wonderful family and friends.

I've really been focused on my career as of lately. Studying Microsoft certification manuals, reading blogs and continuing to develop my personal projects. I'm a happy guy even though the game is over April 5, 2008. ;)

One thing I'm very thankful for is my extended set of parents & siblings. Due to both Michelle & my parents being seperated and re-married we have a total of 7 parents, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. It really makes life comfortable having so many good people around you.
