	December 27, 2009 It's really been a great year. Very busy and very rewarding. My family and I are looking forward to building on everything as we say Goodbye 2009 and Hello 2010.
	November 28, 2009 Wow how time can fly? I haven't updated my site in forever. Between the baby, full time job and part time clients I have been swamped. The last month of pregnancy was tough but great news because Ella is home!
	July 21, 2009 We've been busy growing our new family member in Michelle's belly. We did find out that we're going to have a little girl and we're going to name her Ella Renee. Michelle has been super busy painting, decorating and buying for Ella's new room. Well I did find time to write a rant on buying an extended warranty on a new car.
	May 11, 2009 Wow I managed to not update in 2 months this time! Unfortunately sometimes hobbies and projects get pushed to the side for real life. Don't believe me? Read the image to the left here to know the biggest news in my life!
	March 12, 2009 The time has really been flying for 2009. We've been busy looking to buy a residential lot around Baton Rouge, working at Turner and of course my usual range of hobbies. Lately I've been working hard on building new home brewing equipment. Particularly I worked out creating a beer kettle from a keg.
	January 26, 2009 After around a bottle of wine and reading my latest book I got to staring at my book shelf and came to philosophize that people should build a personal library if they wish to convey who they are to their friends and family. It seems like a great stance at the time.
	January 5, 2009 Well I survived another Christmas season and New Years eve. All's gone well on all fronts of the family so the year 2008 ended very well. Coming out of the holiday season my wife has developed fever for finding a Nintendo Wii.
	December 20, 2008 Today I spent the day making my favorite homemade chocolate fudge recipe that everyone loves. I get requested about it so often around Christmas it was about time to share with everyone. Merry Christmas!
	December 15, 2008 Whoa I forgot I have one other story I still need to tell for the end of 2008. The great piano disaster of 2008 where I attmpted to bring an antique piano in to my home and ended up realizing I really wanted a Yamaha digital piano. It was frustrating but in the end I learned a lot.
	December 10, 2008 I'm often impressed with how long I can go without noticing I haven't updated my Jerry Odom website. Seriously you'd think I'd like writing about me more? Busy year with me getting married, changing jobs, etc. Latley I've been doing a great deal of serious software development as well as working out/playing basketball. Also I've been working on Best Of Baton Rouge as a personal project. Merry Christmas to everyone!
	October 8, 2008 It's a dirty job but it's got to be done. Personally it was worth the money for me to replace the sewer line in my house rather than pay someone to do it. Not an impossible thing to do by any stretch and I recommend anyone able bodied and intelligent doing it themself. Other than that not much going on with me other than watching LSU football and writing custom software at Turner Industries.
	September 10, 2008 Well we all survived hurricane Gustav losing nothing but trees and small amounts of property damage for my family. I'm very thankful. Louisiana should change it's symbol from the fleur de lis to the portable gasoline generator since people now have these about as common as they have freezers. I even purchased one. Thanks for the bills Gustav!
	August 11, 2008 Not a whole lot going on lately other than work for ole Wayne lately. One interesting thing that's been going on lately has been growing a hops garden in my backyard. Hops are the bittering/spice ingredient in beer so I decided to give growing a shot for fun.(just looks too cool) Wathing the Olympics and getting ready for LSU football season. Happy 1st birthday to Gina's baby Zoe.
	July 7, 2008 All is going well with me. I've been ultra busy programming Mobile Windows applications, services and the kitchen sink in my day job while balancing clients and personal life in the evenings. However we did manage to escape to Memphis Tennessee For the 4th of July.
	May 29, 2008 Time has been flying for me. I hope life doesn't constantly move quicker after you turn 30.(like I did April 7th) I finally got around to posting some of my Las Vegas Wedding Pictures.
	April 27, 2008 Married life has been great so far for those wondering. Life has gone to normal and we've been getting on to life beyond getting married. I've been spending a good amount of time dealing with my beer brewing hobby.
	February 19, 2008 I've just been enjoying life lately. Time has been flying and the game is over in less than two months!
	January 13, 2008 Hey everyone for the first time in 2008! I don't get to work on this site nearly as much as I used to due to work, studying for Microsoft certification, Best of Baton Rouge, client projects and lets not forget LSU winning the championship! I was there and it was an excellent time.(for only $700 yikes)
	November 22, 2007 Well I'm hanging out watch football and finally remembered it was time to update my page. Happy thanksgiving! Check out my post to see pictures of Zoe and the grand parents. Oldest & Youngest of my family.
	October 2, 2007 After beginning my new job I've gone ahead and earned my Microsoft Certified Professional Certification. Other than that I've been spending lots of time watching LSU football and brewing beer. Coming soon will be a family tree out of request.
	August 18, 2007 I've been watching Premier League soccer all morning. If you're wondering what I've been up to in my spare time I've been working on two projects: Hurricane Choir and Best of Baton Rouge which is my personal Baton Rouge experiment.
	August 3, 2007 Zoe has arrived! My sister gave birth to the first of my parent's grandchildren right before midnight on August 3rd 2007. Life just got more interesting. Zoe Dixon. I think she got the middle name Rene but don't quote me. ;)
	July 22, 2007 Michelle pointed out to me that I hadn't updated this page in a while. For anyone checking up on me I got engaged a couple of weeks ago! Never thought you'd hear that hunh? I do still update my pages just not so much the index. For example I added Mom's Lasagna recipe.
	June 8, 2007 It's amazing how you can get so busy and let time fly with all the stuff that life brings. Happy birthday to my turd brothers for last month and to my girlfriend for Monday. Stay in Jail Paris and peace in the Middle East.(whatever)
	May 19, 2007 Yeah I haven't posted on my website much. I've been pretty busy learning all the new Microsoft stuff not to mention brushing up on my JAVA. I do have time to think about UFC 71 which promises to be a pretty good card.

	March 18, 2007 I've been so busy getting used to my new job I haven't posted here in a month? I'm recovering from Saint Patrick's day and thinking about how Michelle and I are going to UFC 69 in Houston.
	February 16, 2007 I'm going to start refering to everything I don't understand psychologically "cat logic". For example the cat logic of Michelle's cat that likes to sleep in the strangest places.
	January 30, 2007 Been working hard at working if that makes sense? I took a C# proficiency test today for a recruiter. I've also got 4 interviews left this week with 1 on Monday behind me. Thats more job interviews than I've had in the rest of my life combined. wow
	January 29, 2007 Job searching and learning has taken up so much of my time that UFC 67 has crept up on me. I'm extremely happy about this and ready to see some quality competition this weekend.
	January 20, 2007 I've been working overtime without actually having a job. Presently I'm learning and training for a C#.NET / ASP.NET Programming Job in Baton Rouge. Its exciting for the learning experience but nerve wrecking to not have a job at the moment!
	December 30, 2006 This is a big end of year for me. It was eventful with ups, downs and possibilities. I face 2007 looking back on a number of changes from 2006. I'm anxious and not sure whats going to happen but thats exciting!
	December 5, 2006 Wrong! LSU going to the Sugar Bowl again. Congrats to the Florida Gators for the championship shot. The attack on Pearl Harbor's anniversary is in 2 days. Those people and their families are never to be forgotten.
	December 1, 2006 Looks like its going to be LSU to the Rose Bowl and we'll see how that works out after this weekend. Staying at home tonight watching Battlestar Galactica on the Sci Fi channel. One of my favorite television shows.
	November 28, 2006 Here we are at the end of another year and another football season. LSU had another great year finishing 10-2 with a big Rose Bowl hopefully coming. I've been playing tournament poker again and notice people are displaying Phil Hellmuth's habits far more than I remembered.
	November 8, 2006 I've been ultra busy lately but its ok I still find time to hate on Myspace. Not that I don't use it too but damn it costs some time. UFC 65 is this weekend as well as Ultimate Fighter Finale. Not to mention the LSU vs Alabama game. Lots of sports!
	October 22, 2006 Happy birthday dear Gina! Happy birthday to you! I haven't done more than work and take care of my girlfriend after her surgery for injuries she had last year. My poor darling has really suffered the last 2 weeks. I have noticed however that lately I enjoy Saints football over LSU football.
	October 11, 2006 Went to the Florida vs. LSU game this year. All kinds of fun including our party havign an experience with LSU Real Sports while we were there.
	September 30, 2006 We stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn of Orange Beach Alabama over the weekend for a little beach action. I also checked out UFC 63.
	September 7, 2006 Its funny the things you forget that you have on your server sometimes. I just found the web design I did for my uncles short lived game store back in 2003.(notice the similarities to this site.) I really liked the header though! On another note look for changes to my Mustang pages as I've taken a bunch of pictures and moved the car to my home in Baton Rouge.
	August 20, 2006 Man its hot in Louisiana right now! I've been working on setting up shop so I can move my classic Mustang project to my home in Baton Rouge. I posted the recent classic Mustang work I've tried to get done. Its been slow. I also posted a little about the thought process behind it since i'm always asked when I'll get it done! Seems like forever. Also noticed, poker in high definition TV?
	August 12, 2006 Not a whole lot has been going on. I've been working on my Mustang project at my house and Michelle and I took a small trip to Paragon Casino & Resort in Marksville, LA. Not much of a resort but it was a neat change of pace for a couple of days.
	July 30, 2006 Finished setting up my air compressor and my shop this weekend so that I could get it going on my Mustang project closer to home. Also checked out Clerks 2. Funny stuff.
	July 26, 2006 Whats up everyone? I've been working like a savage on my company's latest great project: College Toolbars. Its been going great and the project has lots of promise. On the personal side I've been working on setting up a shop for my Mustang at my home. I've also built a Baton Rouge business directory for my Baton Rouge section. I'd also like to mention the tree service that did me right for a pesky limb.
	July 23, 2006 I spent a good part of the weekend running wire in my attic and buying an air compressor so i can move my Mustang project to my home.
	July 13, 2006 UFC 61 was by far the most boring fight card I've watched in a while. The main events didn't deliver.
	July 4, 2006 Watching the news and enjoying our Independence day I was thinking about July 4th, Superman, Nasa and the World. A true blogging general brain dump.
	June 12, 2006 Well unfortunately Team USA lost out of the World Cup today. I'm still enjoying the action of the games and will be watching the round of 16.
	June 12, 2006 The World is changing I'm watching the World Cup soccer tournament. I started thinking(rarity) and deduced that I've lost interest in other sports therefore soccer now.
	June 3, 2006 Just got back from my sisters wedding this week. The best thing about the trip had nothing to do with Gatlinburg it was watching UFC 60 at some hole in the wall sports bar.
	May 21, 2006 One month later and I'm still working like a savage. I will say this though I've learned so much more about computer programming concepts for the web in the last 30 days. Speaking of learning, I had to buy tires for my Ford F-150 at only 20,000 miles. I've also been working on my Mustang a bit and will post a video on it shortly.
	April 26, 2006 I've been working my butt off with no real time to post on my website. I have however read The Crusades Through Arab Eyes which was a very good book.
	April 15, 2006 Well happy Easter everyone! This is the first year I haven't spent it in some Florida beach town in quite a while. My girlfriend and I had a romantic night of watching the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tonight. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night I'd say.
	April 8, 2006 Well last weekend was LSU getting the short end of the stick as far as sports are concerned. Oh well there is always next year I guess. Been busy at work so I've been reading alot. I finally sat down and read The Da Vinci Code and I loved the book.
	March 30, 2006 Man what a sweet time to be an LSU fan with the men and women both in the NCAA final four. LSU is finally getting some love for having a chance to win the mens side and thats usually a curse. The women look ready to finally cut down the nets this year! Good times.
	March 25, 2006 Man what a week for basketball and the LSU Tigers beating Duke and then Texas now on to the NCAA Final Four game! Wow. I appreciate fellow Tiger Ricky for writing me and telling me to validate my RSS feed! I guess I should've thought of that!
	March 19, 2006 I purchased a new Sony Vaio FE Notebook and I feel like a caveman who discovered fire for the first time. LSU is in the sweet 16 for basketball versus Duke!! Oh and my St Patrick's Day Baton Rouge page had about 400 hits a day for two days.

	January 16, 2006 I've been getting car fever lately as I want to drive something different from my Ford F-150 truck. 	January 12, 2006 Its pretty humorous now but man it wasn't 2 hours ago. This woman letting her child act like an animal in the coffee shop right after I read an article on the matter earlier today. I'd also like everyone to take a moment and read why Starbucks Sucks. People should stay out of that place.
	January 7, 2006 I stumbled over Wikipedia again today in Google and figured "hey why not add me"? They've kept my name in the books but dumped my entry. Also after another round of spyware removal from my dads computer I've about had enough of spyware companies AND Microsoft. I'm using Firefox all the time myself just to fend it off without using virus protection. IT Times getting tougher.
	January 5, 2006 Happy New Year everyone! Well Texas defeated USC lastnight at the Rose bowl and I was so damn happy about it!! Good year so far.
