LSU went on the road this October to play the Florida Gators in the swamp. This was my second road game this season to watch a top ten matchup for the LSU Tigers. The atmosphere was intense, College Gameday was there, HBO Real Sports was there BUT the LSU Tigers didn't show for the big matchup. After the impressive performance by the Florida Gators they're ranked #2 going into their matchup with Auburn.

LSU Turnover Disaster

You can't win when you turn over the ball 5 times especially against a top ranked team like Florida. Sitting in the stands it was very painful especially with all their fans in your face. The momentum went almost totally out of LSU's favor when Jamarcus Russell fumbled and lost the ball on the Florida 1 yard line. I hear Jamarcus had some distractions coming into the game with his car stolen.

LSU Special Teams

Complete disaster on punt returns in this game. Muffed punt, botched kick off to start the second half. Nothing good about this.

Jamarcus Russell

Turn over on the 1 yard line and pulling away from the center in the second half without the ball. 3 interceptions. In the stands these things were killing the fans. Right when you thought we might get a little momentum back it just fell away.

With a score of 23-10 LSU got lucky. It should've been alot worst considering what happened. LSU will get it back in 2007 and you can bank I'll get football tickets and be in the seats waiting for the rude Florida fans.
