A great 2005 Bowl GameThis is literally a dream game come true for me. I had a dream about a month to six weeks ago that LSU was playing Miami and winning. It was very detailed and I woke up and told my girlfriend and several of my friends about it. What a humerous thing to dream about because I usually don't dream sports. So I was really shocked when my cousin called me up and told me that the Tigers would be facing the Miami Hurricanes in the Peach bowl. I'm almost glad we lost to Georgia because I'll be getting up for this game!! What makes LSU Vs. Miami a great bowl game?: First off you have two programs with a ton of excitement around them. The fans, the schools and the programs have alot of pride and everyone who loves college football gets up for these two teams. Miami and LSU are big time teams with tons of talent who have the potential to get up big time and beat anyone in the country. They've both struggled a little this season and that makes them a perfect matching sure to have a ton of action packed big time plays and drama. I'm loving this.... LSU Tigers Dismantle Miami Hurricanes This is a fairly late update coming in February 2006 but I just came across that I didn't go back over this file to update on how the Peach Bowl turned out. LSU absolutely destroyed Miami and dominated the game in every aspect. I really didn't expect the game to go this way but my hats off to Joseph Addai on his return game, Matt Flynn for turning out in his first big start and the LSU defense for allowing Miami only 3 points. An absolutely wonderful way to end the season and a big statement for Les Miles who has had issues winning over the fans. I can't wait for next year. |
