UFC 73

Here we go with a pretty damn good fight card from the UFC. They're putting these PPV's together so quick now with so much excitement around MMA. So what's going down for this one?

Tito Ortiz vs. Rashad Evans

Tito gets another crack at an Ultimate Fighter contestant. Rashad is in my opinion a much better fighter than Griffin and I wouldn't take him at the -140 posted around the Internet. How? He's proven you can't take hime down. He's always in shape, big, a good boxer and a great wrestler. Tito doesn't box well at all and relies heavily on his ability to take a guy down and keep them there. I think Rashad has a great shot at Tito and would bet on him at the +110 posted.(or even money)

Nathan Marquardt vs. Anderson Silva

The betting odds are off on the Silva fight at -160 especially compared to previous fight odds I've seen. I think Silva will beat the hell out of Marquardt. This is a guy who's winning by decision all the time and you don't beat a guy like Anderson Silva like that. I'd take Silva at least -200.

Sean "Muscle Shark" Sherk vs Hermes Franca

Interesting fight here. Sherk hasn't fought in nearly 9 months here. Franca looked really sharp against Spencer Fisher and beat Nate Diaz at his own game. I like the odds on this fight with Franca at +180 and would bet on him. I feel like we might see a new title holder with Sherk being out of the ring for a while now.
